Another day

Ok, so the names of the posts aren't original, but what can I do? LOL

Yesterday was 100% raw (except for the 1/2 handful of sweet banana chips that I had, but that was at 5am, so it doesn't count!).

Today I had half a chicken leg (cause I was making chicken for my housemate). Anyway, I'm not bummed. Otherwise, I've had a very tasty salad (olive oil, salt, and vinegar dressing) w/humus and an Innocent smoothie. I had a whole lot of tea today (and hot water w/lemon) because my digestion was on the fritzzzzz....But that's ok, let it act up now, I'll laugh last :-) I'm considering rice and humus for dinner but that might be too heavy, so I might just have a fruit smoothie....

On a brighter note, I made humus today so I'm excited about that even tho it was lumpy (cause I'm using a blender, not a food processor). And I still have peanut butter in the fridge! SO even more than been on raw food I'm very interested in making a lot of my own things at home because the food I was eating in the UK was too highly processed.

My organic veg box is to be delivered on Wednesday and my juicer is coming on Tuesday, so it's just excitement and more excitement to come! My goal for next week is to make one new raw meal everyday, how does that sound as a goal????

Is this the first day?

So I've not read enough, my juicer isn't here, and neither is my box of organic produce, so should I call today 'DAY 1'? Or was that Thursday when I made the first smoothie from my new blender? But I ate raw rice today (recipe from RAW RENEWED RASHIDA http://rawrenewedrashida.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html) so maybe that is really a turning point, because before this I was eating lots of fruit and veg but that's something I've been doing more of since March, when I started researching detoxing and getting into a much more natural mode.

So I'm embarking on a raw food diet, at the moment I'm saying that I'm in transition and see how that goes :-)

Maybe I should make some definite plans and set some definite goals, maybe that would help. What do you think?
